A work vehicle (20) is disclosed. The work vehicle (20) comprising: a frame (22)； a drive train (30) connected to the frame (22)； an operator station (28) supported by the frame (22)； a ground engaging device (24, 26) connected to the frame (22)； a holding tank (42) connected to the frame (22), the holding tank (42) configured to store dry material； a conveyor (54, 56) configured to move the dry material from the holding tank (42)； a boom assembly (38,40) configured to transport the dry material； a plurality of nozzles (48, 50) connected to the boom assembly (38,40) and configured to direct the dry material onto a ground surface； a blower (44) configured to blow the dry material from the conveyor (54, 56) into the boom assembly (38,40) and out of the plurality of nozzles (48, 50)； a user interface including a display； and a control system configured to sense a speed of movement of the conveyor (54, 56) and compare the speed of movement of the conveyor (54, 56) to a maximum acceptable speed, the control system further configured to perform one of the following actions in response to sensing that the speed of movement of the conveyor (54, 56) is greater than the maximum acceptable speed: alerting an operator via the user interface to reduce a travel speed of the work vehicle (20), and reducing the travel speed of the work vehicle (20). Further, a method of inhibiting dry material clogs in such a work vehicle (20) is disclosed.
