The present invention relates to a novel triterpene glucoside compound and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory disease comprising the same as an active ingredient. The triterpene glucoside compound is extracted from red ginseng mare which will be discarded, inhibits generation of LPS inducing NO in macrophage, and shows anti-inflammatory activity which inhibits expression of mRNA of inflammatory factors such as iNOS, COX, TNF-&alpha；, IL-1&beta；, IL-6, etc, thereby being used for preventing or treating inflammatory disease.본 발명은 신규 트리테르펜 글루코사이드 화합물 및 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 염증성 질환 예방 또는 치료용 약학조성물에 관한 것으로, 상기 트리테르펜 글루코사이드 화합물은 폐기처분되는 홍삼박으로부터 추출된 것으로서 대식세포에서 LPS 유도 NO 생성을 억제하며, 더불어 iNOS, COX, TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 등 전염증성 매개인자의 mRNA 발현을 억제하는 항염증 활성을 나타내므로, 염증성 질환 치료 또는 예방에 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
