PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is less likely to cause distortion during the use of a product and suppresses diffusion of a body fluid, that spreads in a width direction, in the width direction.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 is equipped with a surface sheet 2 formed of a non-woven fabric including a non-thermal adhesive hydrophilic fiber of 50% or more. The surface sheet 2 is formed into an uneven structure in which a projecting strip part 21 and a recessed strip part 22 of a streaky shape that extend in a width direction are alternately arranged in a vertical direction. Average fiber density of an intermediate part region 23c of the projecting strip part 21 is lower than fiber density of a top part region 23a and a bottom part region 23b.
