Novel techniques and instrumentation are disclosed for repositioning an intraocular lens (IOL) that becomes dislocated, such as following cataract surgery. In some methods, a trocar or sheath is placed through the eye wall near the ciliary body until a distal tip of the instrument is near the intraocular target to be moved. A clip or other engagement structure at the end of the instrument is manipulated to engage a portion of the IOL, such as a haptic, using various disclosed engagement mechanisms. The instrument is then manipulated to reposition the target to a desired position. In some cases, sutures are attached to the target or to the clip and then secured on the external surface of the eye to secure the target in the desired position.La présente invention porte sur de nouvelles techniques et une nouvelle instrumentation destinées à repositionner une lentille intraoculaire (LIO) qui devient démise, telle quà la suite dune chirurgie de la cataracte. Selon certains procédés, un trocart ou une gaine est placé à travers le mur de lœil près du corps ciliaire jusquà ce quune pointe distale de linstrument soit proche de la cible intraoculaire à déplacer. Une agrafe ou une autre structure de prise au niveau de lextrémité de linstrument est manipulée pour venir en prise avec une partie de la LIO, tel quun haptique, à laide de différents mécanismes de prise selon la présente invention. Linstrument est ensuite manipulé pour repositionner la cible à une position désirée. Selon certains cas, des sutures sont fixées à la cible ou à lagrafe et puis fixées sur la surface externe de lœil pour fixer la cible dans la position désirée.
