A stabilizing method of arsenic-contaminated materials is provided to prevent environmental pollution and convert the arsenic-contaminated materials into recycled materials by removing arsenic from arsenic-contaminated materials such as arsenic-contaminated soil and waste economically and safely. A stabilizing method of an arsenic-contaminated material comprises the steps of: mixing and agitating the arsenic-contaminated material with a solidifier comprising water and poly(meth)acrylate as principal components and further comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of aluminum sulfate and calcium oxide together with a shellfish shell to obtain a mixture; and adding the mixture to cement and sand and firing and drying the resulting material to prepare a solid material. The arsenic-contaminated material is a tailing, industrial waste, or general waste. The shellfish shell is a crab shell.
