PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable breasts to be repeatedly rotated and stopped (namely, breast holding means such as a compression plate is rotated and stopped) during imaging procedure.SOLUTION: In a mammography imaging method in which breasts to be imaged are arranged so as to be fixed to fixation means (16, 17) in an area between an X-ray source (13) and an image detector (15) of a mammography device, the X-ray source (13) is moved with respect to the positions of the breasts during the imaging process, and the breasts are irradiated at a plurality of angular positions of the X-ray source (13) with respect to the positions of the breasts, the X-ray source (13) is consecutively moved during the imaging process, the breasts are irradiated in a plurality of short irradiation periods, and the fixation means (16, 17) is rotated so as to be synchronized with the movement of the X-ray source (13) during one irradiation period.【課題】撮像手順中に、乳房を繰返し回転及び停止させること（すなわち、圧迫板等の乳房保持手段を回転及び停止させること）を可能にする。【解決手段】マンモグラフィー撮像法であって、撮像すべき乳房をマンモグラフィー装置のＸ線源（１３）と画像検出器（１５）との間のエリア内にある固定手段（１６、１７）に固定するように配置し、撮像プロセス中、前記Ｘ線源（１３）を前記乳房の位置に対して動かし、前記乳房が該乳房の位置に対して前記Ｘ線源（１３）の複数の角度位置で照射される、マンモグラフィー撮像法において、前記撮像プロセス中、前記Ｘ線源（１３）を連続的に動かし、前記乳房を複数回の短い照射期間中に照射し、一照射期間中、前記固定手段（１６、１７）を前記Ｘ線源（１３）の動きに同期するように回転させる。【選択図】図３ａ
