PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation CT apparatus which allows a radiographer to easily access a breast of a subject inserted in a gantry from a side of the gantry.SOLUTION: The radiation CT apparatus comprises: a rotation unit rotating about a rotation axis； a radiation generation unit and a radiation detection unit fixed to the rotation unit opposingly across the rotation axis； and a gantry cover containing the radiation generation unit and the radiation detection unit and including a breast insertion portion into which a breast of a subject is inserted. A closable opening is provided on a periphery of the gantry cover of the radiation CT apparatus.
