COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF LIVER FIBROSIS OR LIVER CIRRHOSIS COMPRISING OF MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS DERIVED FROM HUMAN EMBRYONIC STEM CELLS AS AN ACTIVE INGREDIENT
The present invention relates to a composition containing, as an active ingredient, mesenchymal stem cells derived from human embryonic stem cells for preventing and/or treating liver fibrosis or liver cirrhosis. Specifically, the mesenchymal stem cells derived from human embryonic stem cells were verified to prevent liver fibrosis, and thus the mesenchymal stem cells derived from human embryonic stem cells can be useful as an active ingredient of a composition or health functional food for protecting the liver, and preventing and treating liver fibrosis or liver cirrhosis.본 발명은 인간 배아줄기세포에서 유래된 중간엽 줄기세포를 유효성분으로 함유하는 간섬유화 또는 간경화 예방 및/또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로, 인간 배아줄기세포에서 유래된 중간엽 줄기세포가 간 섬유화에 대한 방지 효과가 있음을 확인하였으며, 따라서 인간 배아줄기세포에서 유래된 중간엽 줄기세포는 간 보호 및, 간섬유화 또는 간경화 예방 및 치료용 조성물, 또는 건강기능식품의 유효성분으로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
