Cold/hot processing and heat treatment process for high alloyed steel comprises hot/cold processing followed by hot isostatic pressing to eliminate tears and hollow spaces
Cold/hot processing and heat treatment process for high carbon, high alloyed steel comprises processing at less than 800 degreesC for plastic deformation of more than 10%. The component has a crystallized primary carbide with rust-free steel and tool steel so that tears and hollow spaces are not formed in the carbide. Hot isostatic pressing of the component eliminates tears and hollow spaces from the primary carbide.
