PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery type hydroponic device using a porous material which employs a solar battery as the electric power supply and maintains the amount of dissolved oxygen in nutrient solution even when the driving of a pump is stopped on a rainy or cloudy day or during the night with no sunlight supplied.SOLUTION: The solar battery type hydroponic device using a porous material includes a dissolved oxygen retention mechanism consisting of an outer container storing a porous material which retains air retaining the air supplied from the pump, in the inside of a main container charged with a nutrient solution, to depress the porous material via buoyancy, and an inner container, so that the air retained in the outer container is released even after the driving of the pump is stopped, the porous material holding the air is exposed in the nutrient solution, and the air is dissolved in the nutrient solution to maintain the amount of the dissolved oxygen.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】 太陽電池を電源とした水耕栽培装置において、雨天時、曇天時、夜間など太陽光が供給されず、ポンプの駆動が停止した状態においても養液中の溶存酸素量を保持すること。【解決手段】 養液を収容する主容器内部に、空気を保持する多孔質体、ポンプから供給された空気を溜め、浮力によって多孔質体を圧縮し、多孔質体に空気を保持させる外部容器、内部容器からなる溶存酸素保持機構を備えることによって、ポンプ駆動が停止した後においても外部容器に溜められた空気が放出され、さらに空気を含有した多孔質体が養液中に晒され、養液中に空気が溶け出すことによって溶存酸素量を保持する。【選択図】図1
