The present invention relates to a novel pyrroloindolidione derivative having anticancer activity, a preparation method thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same as an active ingredient. More specifically, CH amidation and subsequent CN binding using a rhodium (III) catalyst are provided. It relates to a pyrroloindoledione derivative produced as a result of the CH amidation and CN bond formation reaction, and a method for producing the same. The method for preparing pyrroloindolidioone derivatives using the rhodium (III) catalyst of the present invention is applicable to a wide range of functional groups and is a reaction having regioselectivity and chemoselectivity.
