PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an absorbent article which can expand a sheet stretched by different stretching ratios and can provide different expansion ratios, and a manufacturing apparatus for the absorbent article.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an absorbent article has: a stretch process S101 in which a first area of a sheet continuous body W85 configuring an absorbent article is stretched at a first stretching ratio and a second area of the sheet is stretched by a second stretching ratio greater than the first stretching ratio a cutting process S103 in which the sheet is cut along a stretching direction of the sheet an extension process S107 in which the stretched sheet is extended in the stretching direction and a sheet joint process S109 in which the sheet in the stretched state is joined to a configuration member of the absorbent article.
