PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slit lamp microscope capable of acquiring wide range images of an eye to be examined.SOLUTION: A slit lamp microscope comprises an illumination system 8 and an imaging system 6. The illumination system 8 includes an illumination focusing mechanism 50. The illumination system 8 illuminates an eye E to be examined with slit light. The illumination focusing mechanism 50 is used for changing a focus position of the slit light.
