PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-shaped absorbent article suppressing the slip-off of a diaper during wearing to make the appearance of the diaper neat and fine and making a wearer easy to move.
SOLUTION: The pants-shaped absorbent article has a pair of side seal parts S and S, a waist opening part 5 and a pair of leg opening parts 6 formed thereto. The region between an upper virtual straight line L1, which mutually connects the upper ends of the elastic members positioned at the uppermost parts of a pair of respective side seal parts S, and a lower virtual straight line L2, which mutually connects the lower ends of the elastic members positioned at the lowermost parts of a pair of the respective side seal parts, is divided into four strip-like regions same in width extending in the width direction of the diaper. When four strip-like regions are successively set to a first region 7A, a second region 7B, a third region 7C and a fourth region 7D from the straight line L1 toward the straight line L2, the shrink force of the respective regions at the time of wearing of the diaper is set so that the second region 7B is larger than the third region 7C, the fourth region 7D is larger than the third region 7C and the second region 7B is larger than the first region 7A.
