PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article, hardly increasing cost, and hardly causing tear-off and turn-up of a fixed wing part while and after the absorbent article is applied.SOLUTION: A napkin 1 as an example of an absorbent article includes: an absorbent body 5 having a front surface sheet 2, a rear surface sheet 3, and an absorber 4 and wing parts 6 extending from both side parts 5s thereof. The napkin 1 has penetration holes 11 in the vicinities of a front root 60b and a rear root 60c of the wing parts 6 and also inside from the outer peripheral edge 1w. The penetration holes 11 at the side of the front root 60b and at the side of the rear root 60c are disposed on crotch virtual lines IL in the case of folding the wing parts 6 along the side edges 21s of the crotch part 21 to form the crotch virtual lines IL in applying the napkin 1 to an underwear 20.
