The invention proposes a set of a first and a second preparation which areintended tobe mixed before or during an endodontic treatment to form an endodonticirrigationsolution. The first preparation comprises an oxidising agent. The secondpreparationcomprises antibacterial nanoparticles treated to slow their oxidation by theoxidisingagent. The antibacterial nanoparticles are, for example, encapsulated inshells in ahybrid core-shell structure. In one variation, the antibacterial nanoparticlesare madefrom an alloy of at least two elements, one of the elements being moreresistant tooxidation than the other.
