The present invention pertains to: a packaged unfermented beverage which contains a sweetener and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of xanthohumol and isoxanthohumol, and in which the content of xanthohumol or isoxanthohumol is at least 6 ppm by mass, and the sweetness derived from the sweetener is 0.2-14 in terms of sucrose equivalence； and a production method therefor. The present invention makes it possible to moderate the unpleasant bitterness that is characteristic of the aftertaste of xanthohumol and isoxanthohumol, and to increase the content of xanthohumol and isoxanthohumol without diminishing the inherent flavor of the beverage.本發明係關於容器裝非發酵飲料及其製造方法，該容器裝非發酵飲料含有選自由黃腐醇(xanthohumol)及異黃腐醇(isoxanthohumol)所組成群組中之一種以上以及甜味物質，黃腐醇或異黃腐醇的含量為6質量ppm以上，源自甜味物質之甜味度以蔗糖換算為0.2～14。根據本發明，可壓制黃腐醇及異黃腐醇中所特有的後味之令人不愉快的苦味，在無損該飲料原本所持有之香味之情形下，提高黃腐醇及異黃腐醇的含量。
