PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the efficiency in shelving of seedling boxes onto a greening carriage. SOLUTION: This apparatus for shelving the seedling boxes of a seedling-raising facility is obtained by arranging a shelving part 16 on one or both sides of the terminal end of a loading conveyor 1, installing a lift device for lifting and lowering the greening carriage 18 in the shelving part 16, providing a seedling box standby part 23 capable of making the two seedling boxes 3 in the front and rear directions in the transporting direction of the loading conveyor 1 stand by between the lateral edge of the terminal end of the lading conveyor 1 and the shelving part 16, installing front and rear pushing devices 19a and 19b for pushing out the seedling boxes 3 in the direction intersecting the transporting direction at right angles and pushing the seedling boxes 3 through the seedling box standby part 23 into a shelf of the greening carriage 18 located in the shelving part 16 in an upper part of the terminal end of the loading conveyor 1, thereby making the two front and rear seedling boxes 3 and 3 stand by in the seedling box standby part 23 and resultantly capable of transporting the next seedling boxes 3, etc., with the loading conveyor 1 before the shelving of the transported seedling boxes 3 and 3 onto the greening carriage 18 is completed and improving the efficiency in shelving of the seedling boxes 3, etc., onto the greening carriage 18.
