PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing fine powder of Morinda citrifolia fruit comprising sealing odd smell in for making Morinda citrifolia drinkable. SOLUTION: The method for producing fine powder of Morinda citrifolia fruit comprises the following process: sorting Morinda citrifolia fruit 1; washing the sorted one; maturing the washed Morinda citrifolia by a maturing means 2; pulverizing the matured Morinda citrifolia fruit together with its skin by a pulverizing means 3; eliminating seeds from the fruit; deairing the pulverized substance with a deairing means 4; homogenizing the pulverized substance with a homogenizing means 5 to be formed into a homogenate 6; bringing the homogenate 6 into a freeze dryer shelf 7; rapidly cooling the homogenate 6 with a cooling means 8; vacuum-drying the cooled homogenate with a vacuum dryer 9; and pulverizing the dried solid with a pulverizing means 10 to be formed into fine powder 11. In everywhere in a production process, heat-sterilization in a short time is performed once at about 70°C, and next heat-sterilization is performed one more time at 95°C respectively with a heating sterilization means 12.
