PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter in which wastes and straw litters flowing on the surface of rice field can favorably be plowed even when a leveling rotor is adjusted at a position higher than a standard position. SOLUTION: The sulky transplanter is equipped with a planting implement 7 liftably connected to the rear of a traveling machine body 1 and a leveling rotor 14 for carrying out leveling on the front side of the planting implement 7, and the sulky transplanter installs the leveling rotor 14 so that the height is adjustable to the planting implement 7. In the sulky transplanter, a leveling rotor speed change mechanism 31 for changing rotation rate of the leveling rotor 14 is installed, and the leveling rotor speed change mechanism 31 is automatically changed to high-speed side when adjusted height of the leveling rotor 14 is higher than the standard height.
