SOLUTION: The straw cutter 20 is provided with: a high-speed rotation shaft 22 having a plurality of large-diameter rotary blades 22a and small-diameter rotary blades 22b alternately fixed to the shaft interposing prescribed spaces between the blades a low-speed rotation shaft 23 having a plurality of rotary blades 23a fixed to the shaft interposing prescribed spaces between the blades and positioned in a manner approachable or separable relative to the high-speed rotation shaft 22 and a switching mechanism 30 to switch and fix the low-speed rotation shaft 23 to the approached position or the separated position relative to the high-speed rotation shaft 22. The switching mechanism 30 is provided with a Geneva mechanism 40 to perform intermittent rotary motion and a connection mechanism 50 to connect the Geneva mechanism 40 to the low-speed rotation shaft 23, and the position of the low-speed rotation shaft 23 is made to be changeable.
