PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel enabling the stable operation of the changeover lever of a gear variable-speed mechanism and the stable position regulation of the changeover lever to a changeover shaft.SOLUTION: The fishing reel is such as to be equipped with a gear variable-speed mechanism on a transmission system for reeling use, and mounted, push-operably from the outside, with a changeover shaft in a handle-equipped cylindrical handle shaft, wherein the changeover shaft functions to switch the gear variable-speed mechanism between a high-speed reeling mode and a low-speed reeling mode. In this fishing reel, a holding part is provided on the base of the handle arm of the above handle and fitted with a hook member slidably rectangularly to the changeover shaft, wherein the hook member is threaded with the changeover shaft and has a hook hole hookable on a hook provided on the changeover shaft, and also fitted with a changeover lever projected with an operative part externally so as to be turnable by being impelled unidirectionally by an impelling means the hook member and the changeover lever are provided with an engaging element and a to-be-engaged element respectively, and by engaging these elements with each other, the turning motion of the changeover lever is transformed to the hook members sliding movement rectangular to the changeover shaft.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】 本発明は魚釣用リールに係り、ギヤ変速機構の切換えレバーの安定した作動及び切換えシャフトに対する切換えレバーの安定した位置規制を可能とした。【解決手段】 巻取り用の伝動系にギヤ変速機構を備え、ハンドルが装着された筒状のハンドル軸内にギヤ変速機構を高速巻取り状態と低速巻取り状態とに切り換える切換えシャフトを外部から押圧操作可能に装着した魚釣用リールに於て、ハンドル軸に装着されるハンドルのハンドルアームの基部に保持部を設け、保持部に、切換えシャフトが挿通し、切換えシャフトに設けた係止部に係脱可能な係止孔を有する係止部材を切換えシャフトに直交する方向へスライド可能に取り付けると共に、操作部が外方に突設された切換えレバーを付勢手段で一方向に付勢して回転可能に取り付け、係止部材と切換えレバーに係合部と被係合部を設け、これらを係合させることで切換えレバーの回転運動を係止部材の切換えシャフトに直交する方向のスライド移動に変換させた。【選択図】 図3
