PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the separation of a part where a terminal of a circuit board and a signal cable are soldered and the disconnection of the signal cable without increasing the size of an outer shape of an imaging device.SOLUTION: A flexible substrate 31 is electrically connected to a marginal part of a rear end side of a CCD 27 and is bonded to it with an adhesive. The signal cable 35 is soldered to the terminal 33 of the flexible substrate 31. After the flexible substrate 31 is folded into a rectangular tube shape, and an insulation protecting member 36 is filled in the inside, the flexible substrate is heated to be cured. A covering member 37 which has a circular truncated cone shape and is more flexible than the insulation protecting member 36 is joined to an end surface on the side from which the signal cable 35 of the insulation protecting member 36 protrudes and covers the signal cable 35. When a load is applied to the covering member 37, an end side is deformed. Consequently, the signal cable 35 is not disconnected, and the terminal 33 is not separated from the signal cable 35.
