The irrigation system has ducts with a number of water-outlet openings. The hollow-profile sections (10,12) are connected together by internal coupling sleeves (15) with a central bore (20). Each coupling sleeve (15) has stops (16) distributed over its circumference which fix the distance of the hollow-profile sections (10,12) on the coupling element (15). The inner walls of the hollow-profile sections (10,12) are held by longitudinally directed spacers (17) at the pre-set distance to the outer surface of the coupling element (15). USE/ADVANTAGE - Irrigation pipe. The danger of blocking the water outlet openings in the pipe system is greatly reduced or practically eliminated.
