The present invention relates to a device and a method for reprocessing a medical device. The device for reprocessing a medical device comprises: a decontamination basin； a first flush conduit； a second flush conduit； and a manifold. The first and second flush conduits respectively have first and second coupling ports fluidly connected to a medical device positioned within the decontamination basin. The manifold is fluidly connected to the first and second flush conduits, thereby distributing a fluid received therein. The device for reprocessing a medical device also comprises: a first valve； a second valve； and a primary pump for discharging the fluid into the manifold at a predetermined supply flow rate.
