PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent skin troubles by eliminating contact between a body fluid and a skin as much as possible, and to prevent a backflow of the body fluid, in an absorbent article in which a recessed part is formed on a skin surface side of an absorber.SOLUTION: An absorber 4 has a structure in which an upper layer absorber 9 on a skin surface side and a lower layer absorber 10 on a non-skin surface side are laminated. The upper layer absorber 9 has a penetrating part 11 in a position corresponding to a body fluid discharging part and a liquid collecting slope part 12 which is shaped as a slanting surface and extends from a peripheral edge of the penetrating part 11 to an upper surface of the upper layer absorber 9 in a circumference enclosing the penetrating part 11, and has a liquid-impermeable sheet 13 or a poorly liquid-permeable sheet 13 arranged to cover an upper surface of the liquid collecting slope part 12 except the penetrating part 11.
