PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat which is lightweight and robust and in which user does not feel uncomfortable feeling when grasping the same.SOLUTION: The reel seat 10 is a screw type. A movable hood 13 has a hood body 17 comprising stainless steel and an operation nut 14 of resin. The operation nut 14 comprises two members (a coupling ring 15 and a nut body 16). The coupling ring 15 engages with the nut body 16 and relatively turns to the nut body. The coupling ring 15 also engages with the hood body 17 but does not turn relative to the hood body. An engaging boss 44 arranged in the coupling ring 15 fits into an engaging hole 40 arranged in the hood body 17. The engaging hole 40 is formed by punching machining or others.
