PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat which can comfortably be held by an angler and to or from which a reel can easily be attached or detached.SOLUTION: The reel seat 20 has a seat body 24, a fixed hood 21, a moving hood 22 capable of sliding in a direction indicated by an arrow 30, and a lock mechanism 25 for controlling the sliding of the moving food 22.
