PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a mammal with an extract of Ganoderma lucidum effective against hypertrophic dermatitis, lymphocytic-plasmacytic granulation diseases, fibrosis or further dermatitis caused by allergy or atopy.
SOLUTION: A Th3 vital reaction is inhibited and the hypertrophic dermatitis, the lymphocytic-plasmacytic granulation diseases or the fibrosis is treated by administering the extract of the Ganoderma lucidum to the mammal. The preferable daily dose of the extract of the Ganoderma lucidum is &ge10 mg (weight in terms of dry powder) based on 1 kg of body weight.
