PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device of exhaled gas for removing and safely discharging a removal object component by removing moisture from the exhaled gas discharged from an artificial respiratory apparatus mainly and attaining stable humidity.SOLUTION: The treatment device of the exhaled gas includes a moisture removal means 4 for cooling the exhaled gas containing the removal object component by a cooling means 10 and dew-condensing and reducing the moisture contained in the exhaled gas, and the exhaled gas from which the moisture is reduced in the moisture removal means 4 is brought into contact with an adsorbent and the removal object component is removed. Thus, the need of a filling cylinder for filling a large amount of silica gel which is necessary in the conventional art is eliminated to achieve downsizing, the time and labor of exchange work of the silica gel are eliminated, and the decline of adsorption capacity due to the sticking of dew condensation water to the adsorbent and the obstruction of the discharge of the exhaled gas due to the sticking of the dew condensation water inside piping are eliminated.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】主として人工呼吸器から排出される呼気ガスから水分を除去して安定的な湿度とすることにより、除去対象成分を除去して安全に排出する呼気ガスの処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】除去対象成分を含む呼気ガスを冷却手段10により冷却して呼気ガス中に含まれる水分を結露させて低減する水分除去手段4を備え、上記水分除去手段4で水分を低減した呼気ガスを吸着剤に接触させて除去対象成分を除去する。これにより、従来のように大量のシリカゲルを充填する充填筒が不要になって小型化するうえ、シリカゲルの交換作業の手間もなくなり、吸着剤に結露水が付着することによる吸着能力の低下や、配管内に結露水が付着して呼気ガスの排出を妨げることもなくなる。【選択図】図1
