PURPOSE: An absorbent article is provided to prevent fluid from leaking by being well attached to the valley of the buttocks of a wearer. CONSTITUTION: An absorbent article comprises a fluid permeable upper sheet(5a), a fluid impermeable lower sheet(6a), an absorber(7a), an elastic member(10a), and a leak prevention barrier(11a). The absorber is arranged between the upper sheet and lower sheet. The rear sheet is arranged on the rear of the upper sheet. The elastic member generates contractile force in the longitudinal direction.
