PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which hardly changes its shape in a bent condition.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes a top sheet and a back sheet which are liquid-permeable, and an absorber interposing between the top sheet and the back sheet, wherein the absorber has a plurality of top surface recessions and a plurality of lower surface recessions extending in the width direction of the absorber formed on the top surface and the lower surface, respectively, and the top surface recessions and the lower surface recessions are arranged to stagger in the longitudinal direction of the absorber and to gradually widen an interval therebetween in the longitudinal direction.
