PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation method for an air turbine handpiece and a turbine rotor applied to a medical treatment and the like capable of rotating and driving a rotor efficiently and at a high torque under an operation that a turbine blade part efficiently catches air supply for driving a turbine and the flow of caught air is made smooth.SOLUTION: A turbine blade part is constituted by a lower surface disc part 21 and a plurality of blades 22 integrally arranged under an equal interval in a radial direction with respect to a central axis of the disc part. Each of the blades at the turbine blade part is vertically arranged above the disc part under a state in which its cross sectional shape having a convex surface part 23 in a rotating direction of a turbine rotor shows a substantial crescent shape. At a rear surface 24 opposite to the convex surface part of each of the blades, a rear surface part 24a in a downward direction at a position of substantial 1/2 of a height of each blade is constituted in such a way that it has a fed air pressure receiving part formed with a curved surface part 25 that becomes gradually a retracted surface in a direction of a vertical installation base part 22a of an adjoining blade at a rear portion in its rotating direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】タービンブレード部がタービンを駆動する給気を効率良く捕え、また、捕えた空気の流れをスムーズにすることにより、ロータを効率良く、また、高トルクで回転駆動することができる医療用等に適用するエアタービンハンドピースとタービンロータの回転方法の提供。【解決手段】タービンブレード部が、下面の円盤部21と円盤部の中心軸に対して半径方向に等間隔に一体的に配設された複数のブレード22から構成され、タービンブレード部の各ブレードは、タービンロータの回転方向に凸面部23を有する横断面形状が略三日月状の形態に前記円盤部の上側に立設されるとともに各ブレードの凸面部とは反対側の背面部24において、各ブレードの高さの略1/2の位置の下方向の背面部24aを、隣接する回転方向後方のブレードの立設基部22a方向に徐々に後退面とする湾曲面部25を形成した給気受圧部を設けた構成とする。【選択図】図6
