PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horticulture material high in strengths and durability and having natural feeling and provide a planter using the same. SOLUTION: The horticulture material 14 is constituted with a core member 16 that is made of a metal wire or rod and can be bent with a force higher than a certain level, a vegetable fiber material 18 that is attached to the surrounding of the core member 16 so that the core member 16 may be hidden invisibly, and a string material 20 for fixing is spirally wound around the circumference of the fiber material 18 whereby the horticulture material is constituted.
