PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably contain a large quantity of high water absorbent resin in an absorber while keeping an absorption amount of a body fluid and absorption speed.SOLUTION: In an absorber 4, an upper absorber 4A located at the skin contact surface side and a lower absorber 4B located at the skin non-contact surface side are stacked. The lower absorber 4B is provided with a recessed part 10 by embossing from the skin contact surface side, and the upper absorber 4A is stacked thereon with high water absorbent resin 11 stored in the recessed part 10. Thus, a body fluid absorbed in the upper absorber 4A is drawn to the recessed part 10 side of the lower absorber 4B due to a fiber density difference of the embossed part, and efficiently absorbed and held in the high water absorbent resin 11 stored in the recessed part 10.
