Disclosed is a cell DNA synthesis prevention and cell proliferation inhibition polypeptide, the amino acid sequence thereof being: methionine-proline-tyrosine-serine-threonine-glutamic acid-leucine-isoleucine-phenylalanine-tyrosine-isoleucine-glutamic acid-methionine-asparagic acid-proline and a fusion polypeptide consisting of the polypeptide and a penetrating peptide (PTD). Also disclosed is a use of the polypeptide and the fusion polypeptide in preparing the drug for treating tumors and other abnormal cell growth-related diseases.
