PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information generation device or the like capable of effectively estimating the effect of assistance of a walking assist robot in a wide range.SOLUTION: Data for estimation showing a relation between assist force to be outputted by a driving unit 10 when exercise is assisted and own power generated when a patient himself/herself uses muscle during exercise accompanied with the assistance is generated in advance and acquired, a current value of a driving current for driving the driving unit 10 is detected during actual recovery training or the like is detected, and information showing the own power outputted by the patient during exercise assistance is generated on the basis of the detected current value and the acquired data for estimation.
