PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus which is suitable for a device operator, such as a doctor or the like, in an endovascular treatment to carry out the medical practice efficiently by visually confirming a guide wire, catheter, coil or the like.SOLUTION: This medical image diagnostic apparatus generates a volume rendering image from volume data, and comprises a mask image storage unit for storing a fluoroscopic mask image. In addition, a real-time fluoroscopic image is captured for every time series. Further, a subtraction image is generated by subjecting the fluoroscopic mask image and the real-time fluoroscopic image to subtraction processing. Also, a coil image is generated from the fluoroscopic mask image.
