PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article improving gas permeability of an outer wrapper body, reducing stuffiness of the inside, hardly evoking an anxiety about leakage, and improving availability.SOLUTION: An outer wrapper body 2 of an underpants type absorbent article 1A includes a plurality of elastic members 23 intermittently disposed between an inner layer sheet member 21 and an outer layer sheet member 22 in the vertical direction X, with their elongated state in the lateral direction Y. The inner layer sheet member 21 includes a plurality of inner apertures 25, while the outer sheet member 22 includes a plurality of outer apertures 26. The outer wrapper body 2 is formed by mixingly disposing the inner apertures 25 and the outer apertures 26 at positions not to be overlapped with each other.
