A method for seed breeding of heterotic cucumber hybrids includes sowing seed of parental components, eliminating deviations from the main variety, isolating the seed. A maternal form with high content of female plants and those of female type (60-70%) is used and discriminating care according to sex (removing plants of intermediate and male types at the beginning of flowering) in the maternal form is not carried out.
