PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instant powder tea that is less likely to be subjected to the effect of the hardness of water for use, having an appearance with a reduced difference in turbidity and the like when restored with hot water injection and the like.SOLUTION: An instant powder tea contains the following components (a) to (c): (a) 5 to 15 mass% of one or a plurality of polyphenols selected from flavonol, flavanone, flavanol, and a sugar adduct thereof； (b) a lipid, and (c) ascorbic acid or a salt thereof.
