PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instant powder tea of which physical properties less likely to change even when kept warm for long hours after restoration with hot water injection and the like.SOLUTION: An instant powder tea contains the following components (a) to (c) and (e): (a) 5 to 15 mass% of one or a plurality of polyphenols selected from flavonol, flavanone, flavanol, and a sugar adduct thereof (b) a lipid, (c) ascorbic acid or a salt thereof, and (e) gallic acid.
