PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester having an excellent harvesting performance by precisely pulling a root vegetable out of the underground and causing a drawing and transportation unit to surely clamp and dig out the vegetable by a low power.SOLUTION: A digging upper body is constructed to include two right and left downward extended beams 20 and spatulas 21 attached to the inside lower end portions of the beams 20. The spatulas 21 are disposed transversely symmetrically in a front view in a V-shape, and are inclined upward from the front to the back.
