PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system installed without processing an installation portion.SOLUTION: In the communication system, communication units 30A and 30B are fixed, by suction cups 32, to positions opposing each other across a monitoring window 4 (not shown in Fig.2). Each screw N of the migration mechanism 40 of the communication unit 30A is loosened, and while watching the deflection of the needle of an ammeter 33, an X-axis stage 41 and a Y-axis stage 42 are moved in X-axis and Y-axis directions to perform alignment of changing the position of a light-emitting element 35. While monitoring the current value flowing through a light-receiving element 36 by the ammeter, a variable resistor is adjusted to change the current value flowing through the light-emitting element 35 to adjust the intensity of light.
