A vehicle transaxle system (2) includes a pair of right and left transaxle units (4R,4L) equipped on a vehicle (1). The right transaxle unit (4R) supports a single right axle (5R), and the left transaxle unit (4L) supports a single left axle (5L). A variable displacement hydraulic pump (36) is disposed in each of the right and left transaxle units (4R,4L) so as to be driven by power from a prime mover (9) of the vehicle (1). A variable displacement hydraulic motor (37) is disposed in each of the right and left transaxle units (4R,4L) and is fluidly connected to the corresponding hydraulic pump (36) so as to drive the corresponding right or left axle (5R,5L). A movable motor displacement control member (130) is provided in each of the transaxle unit (4R,4L) so as to be moved to change the displacement of the corresponding hydraulic motor (37). An interlocking connection means (66,66A,140) is connected to both the movable motor displacement control members (130) of the respective hydraulic motors (37). The vehicle (1) is provided with a first manipulator (12R,12L) for changing displacements of the hydraulic pumps (36), and is provided with a second manipulator (26,128) for operating the interlocking connection means (66,66A,140). The interlocking connection means (66,66A,140) is operated by operating the second manipulator (26,128) so as to synchronously move both the movable motor displacement control members (130).
