PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide culture soil for a seedling with soil that prevents collapse when a seedling raised in a seedling-raising container is mechanically transferred with soil attached to its root and that can maintain good water permeability over a long period.SOLUTION: A granular surfactant and a granular fixation agent are added to a culture soil base. Preferably, the surfactant comprises a liquid surfactant carried in a granular carrier. Also, the surfactant is preferably an anionic surfactant or a nonionic surfactant, and preferably a polyoxyalkylene derivative. The fixation agent is preferably a water-soluble polymer compound composed chiefly of acrylamide. The amount of addition of the fixation agent is preferably in the range of 0.4 to 1.2 wt.% of the culture soil, and the amount of addition of the surfactant is preferably in the range of 0.04 to 0.4 wt.% of the culture soil.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】育苗容器で育成された苗を根部に土が付いた状態で機械移植する際に、崩壊することがなく、しかも良好な透水性を長期にわたって持続できる土付き苗用の培土を提供する。【解決手段】粉粒状の界面活性剤と粉粒状の固化剤とを培土基材に添加する。ここで、前記界面活性剤としては、液状の界面活性物質を粉粒状の担持体に担持させたものが好ましい。また、前記界面活性剤はアニオン性界面活性剤又はノニオン性界面活性剤が好ましく、さらにはポリオキシアルキレン誘導体が好ましい。前記固化剤としては、アクリルアミドを主成分とする水溶性高分子化合物が好ましい。前記固化剤の添加量は、培土に対して0.4~1.2重量%の範囲が好ましく、前記界面活性剤の添加量は、培土に対して0.04~0.4重量%の範囲が好ましい。【選択図】なし
