PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain transformed plant cells or transformed plant bodies having salt tolerance because the salt tolerance of the plant cell can be enhanced. SOLUTION: The transformed plant cells excessively expressing an AtWBC7 protein, calluses or the plant bodies containing the cells is provided. The AtWBC7 is an ABC transporter protein, preferably is a protein having an amino acid sequence of a sequence number: 2. The transformed plant cells are useful for the greening of salt collecting soil and the agriculture in the salt collecting soil or others because of having the salt tolerance.
