PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance which improves the utility of nitric oxide (NO), particularly a medicament for the improvement of sexual function in both a man and a woman.SOLUTION: The invention provides a substance which improves the utility of nitric oxide (NO)； a solid composition containing a biosynthetic precursor of an NO donor or a nitric oxide, or a direct or indirect NO agonist (preferably arginine) in combination with dithiolane (preferably α-lipo acid)； and uses thereof for the improvement of sexual function.
