PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prophylactic agent, an ameliorating agent or a therapeutic agent for retinal diseases which is effective enough for a practical use.SOLUTION: A prophylactic agent, an ameliorating agent or a therapeutic agent for retinal diseases includes geranylgeranylacetone and is administered to retinal disease patients.
