PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper-containing composition that can exhibit anti-virus action for the long term, by preventing a monovalent copper compound from gradually changing into a divalent copper compound due to oxidation in the air.SOLUTION: A copper-containing composition contains a monovalent copper compound-containing substrate, and a coating layer that is formed on the surface of monovalent copper compound-containing substrate and contains polysiloxane.
